Free Stuff

March 6, 2008

Check out some free resources from ChristianAudio.com and ChristianBookSummaries.com.

Free Audiobook of the Month – Confessions of the Reformed Church
The Augsburg, The Westminister, and the Heidelberg Confessions. Quite simply, these are three of the most important and well-known confessions of the Reformed faith. Concise, yet with excellent detail, there is no better way to get an introduction and background of historic Reformed faith.

Add the Download format of The Confessions of the Reformed Faith to your cart and then use the coupon code MAR2008 during checkout to receive this title for free.

Free Book Summary – Moby Dick by Herman Melville
Over at ChristianBookSummaries.com they read books, summarize them and provide PDFs of the summary.  I know, anyone who wants to be familiar with Moby Dick should probably read it, but this is for those who are ok discussing books at parties.  And maybe it will encourage you to read the actual book! Go to their homepage and click ‘Read this issue…’

They also have an archive of books they have summarized.  (Again, reading is cool, but you can’t read everything!) Here are some samples:

The Imitation of Christ by Thomas A. Kempis (download PDF)

Glocalization by Bob Roberts (download PDF)

The Great Exchange: My Sin for His Righteousness (download PDF)

Grace Abounding to the Chief of Sinners (download PDF)
